The Perfect Weekend Getaway In Arizona At The W Scottsdale!

If you’re looking for a weekend getaway far from the crowds and all of the oversaturated tourist destinations I HIGHLY recommend a weekend trip to Scottsdale, Arizona. I had the time of my life while there and got the chance to explore so much all while taking some time out for myself to relax. There are tons of hotels located in the city, but none that compare to the W Scottsdale. I stayed there during the week leading into the weekend and I have to say it gave me a number of different feels. From party, to relaxtion and meditation.

I stayed in a Wonderful Guest Room Double overlooking the hotel pool. The best part about the rooms view was watching the sunrise every morning of my stay. The staff here made me feel right at home as well. Anything that was needed they were right there at your service. I even scheduled a morning wake up call for one of my early adventures and they came right up to my room to greet me.

Now, let’s get into the amenities inside of the W Scottsdale. There’s a bar located in the hotel lobby. A pool with tons of cabanas, but be sure to grab one early as they do tend to fill up fast. Did I mention that they have a pool party located on their Wet Deck , which is open to the public? Then there’s also the Away Spa, something that I would highly recommend to anyone especially if you plan to stay on the property. Their Cottontail Lounge restaurant where the vibes are immaculate and tons more to experience at the hotel.

The Away Spa located inside of the W Scottsdale and they offer a number of different luxury treatments. From hair and makeup to massages and facial treatments. I ended up getting the Detox Facial, which was a deep cleansing treatment. Then the Go Deep Massage that targets the deeper muscles and is known to boost energy as well as release tension. When I arrived to the spa I was instructed to change into their robe and slippers then place my belongings in the locker area.

After that I snagged a few cool photos in their salon area and made my way to the massage room. The room is filled with calming energy and aromas. The massage therapist then adds a bit of soft music to create an even better atmosphere and I promise it’s so soothing. The entire experience took place for a little over 2 hours. I felt COMPLETELY relaxed and refreshed afterwards. I even got to take a cocktail up to room and some slippers in addition to facial products that came back home with me in my luggage. If you plan to visit Arizona, I have to say booking a spa is a must.

As we all know, all great things must come to an end. During my last day at the W Scottsdale it was a bit bitter sweet. Bitter because I was leaving, but sweet because I knew I would be back soon. Before my checkout time I got up a little earlier than usual so I can try out their Cottontail Lounge restaurant for breakfast, which is right by the pool. I ordered the house standard that comes with eggs, roasted potatoes and bacon. Along with this I had fresh fruit and a cup of hot chamomile tea.

It was a great way to start my morning before my departure. Everything was made fresh and to perfection. The staff was exceptional as well, which is always a plus for me. Overall, my stay at the W Scottsdale was exceptional! From my spa treatment, to the service from the staff, the amenities leading up to food. All of these things played a major role in me wanting to visit Arizona once more in the future.

There was so much to explore in the city, but staying at the W Scottsdale was by far the best part of my entire trip.
